| Arnborg Winter F3J 2005 - Bulletin 1 | |
Arnborg Winter F3J will be held on 26-27 February 2005 at Arnborg Airfield.
The event is open for everyone who would like to participate.
Again in 2005 we have been granted permission to organise this competition at Dansk svæveflyvningscenter (=Danish soaringcenter) at Arnborg, situated between Herning and Brande.
2 competitions will be flown during the weekend - one each day. The competitions will be WITHOUT fly off and EVERY flight will count in the final result (no discard rounds!).
We ask the 2 winners in 2004 (Marc Wiegmann and Jo Grini) to come and defend their cups!
Flying area: approx. 400 m x 1000 m
Startmethod: F3B-winches - please bring as many of these as possible!
Line length: 300 meters (150 meters between startline and return pulley).
Teams: 2-3 (max 4) pilots in each team.
Schedule:
Friday, 25. February 2005:
-From 12:00: Arrival and training
Saturday, 26. February 2005:
- 7:30: Preparation and setup of winches and equipment
- 8:30: Breakfast and briefing
- 9:30: First flight
-12:30: Lunch
-16:00: No new rounds will be started after 16:00
-18:00: Dinner and prize giving
Sunday, 27. February 2005:
- 7:30: Preparation and setup of winches and equipment
- 8:30: Breakfast and briefing
- 9:30: First flight
-12:30: Lunch
-14:00: No new rounds will be started after 14:00
-15:30: Prize giving and departure

Entry fees:
The entry fees will be collected upon arrival in Arnborg. The exact cost is not calculated at this moment, but it will be announced in the next bulletin.
Weather:
The weather in Denmark can be quite difficult to predict. It could be like the last time - we had fantastic weather: sunshine, calm wind, no rain or snow. But it's also possible that a snowstorm could pass our way.
In case of very bad weather, the event could be cancelled with a 48 hour notice. This means that we on Thursday, February 24 2005, 9:00 am, will say "go" or "no go".
